Glow Up prices verified on our own booking page in September 2026. County range compiled from published Orange County provider menus.

"I walked into work the next day and they asked me, 'What did you do? Fall in love or something? You are glowing.' Grace knew exactly what type of facial I needed. I was not sure what type of facial I needed so, I asked Grace and I’m so glad I let her decide, I never would have chosen this and I’m so happy at the results."

What actually moves the price

1. The tier.  The standard HydraFacial tier structure runs Signature, Deluxe, and Platinum: the entry tier is cleanse, exfoliate, and hydrate in about 30 minutes, the middle tier adds a booster serum chosen for your skin, and the top tier adds lymphatic drainage and LED. Our three names map onto that same ladder. A $199 quote and a $325 quote are usually two different tiers, not two different markups.

2. Boosters and add-ons. At Glow Up, our published add-on menu runs from $15 for a high frequency wand to $45 for dermaplaning, with LED light therapy at $30 and microcurrent at $25. Regenerative add-ons are a different category: exosomes run $299 and topical PRFM runs $200, which is more than the facial itself.

3. Who's holding the wand. A day spa and a medical spa can both own the device. But what really differs is the esthetician, a wrong call from an untrained or inexperienced provider will shop up on your skin that week.

4. Where the room is. Coastal Orange County prices higher than inland Orange County for the same protocol. It's rent and demand, not a better facial. If you're willing to drive 15 minutes inland, the same tier frequently costs 15 to 25 percent less.

HydraFacial cost in Orange County, broken down

HydraGlow, $199

This is the cleanse, double exfoliation, and hydration infusion, and it's the version most people picture when they say HydraFacial. It's the right pick if your skin is generally behaving and you want it to look rested. It is not the right pick if you booked because of active congestion, because the booster is what addresses that and this tier doesn't include one.

Best for: First HydraFacial, or maintenance between bigger treatments.

Price: $199 per session.

Common add-on: Dermaplaning at $45, which is the one most first-timers actually want.

Bottom line: The honest entry point, and priced at the low end of what Orange County charges for the same tier.

That Glow Tho, $250

Everything above, plus LED light therapy and a medical-grade booster selected for what your skin is doing. The booster is the reason to move up a tier. If you're dealing with congestion, dullness, or texture that doesn't respond to your routine, this is the version that goes after it. If your only complaint is dryness, the $51 gap buys you less than you'd hope.

Best for: Congestion, uneven tone, or skin that needs something targeted rather than more hydration.

Price: $250 per session.

Worth knowing: The LED is bundled here, so you're not paying the $30 add-on price for it separately.

Bottom line: The tier most people should book, and the one we recommend most often.

MegaGlow, $300

Adds lymphatic drainage across the face and neck to the tier above. Lymphatic work is genuinely useful for puffiness and fluid retention, and it's the most noticeable same-day difference of the three tiers if that's your concern. It's also the tier most likely to be oversold. If you don't hold fluid in your face, you're paying $50 for a step your skin wasn't asking for.

Best for: Puffiness, post-travel faces, and anyone with a hard date on the calendar.

Price: $300 per session.

Honest caveat: The drainage benefit is temporary. It's a great before-an-event booking and a weak default.

Bottom line: Book it for a reason, not by habit.

How that compares across Orange County

We're not the cheapest option in the county and we're not close to the most expensive. SoCo Med Spa in Irvine and Ladera Ranch lists $200, $275, and $325 across its three tiers, which is within about $25 of us at every level. The Pur Health in Irvine lists $199 for its Signature and $249 and up for its Deluxe. Aggregated county data from Clear Beauty puts the full Orange County range at $203 to $540 per session, with top-tier bookings pushing the ceiling.

The read on that: entry-tier pricing in Orange County is remarkably consistent near $200. The spread opens at the top, where tier definitions get loose and boosters get bundled differently. That's where you need to ask what's included, not what it costs.

The question that saves people money isn't "how much." It's "which tier is that price, and what's bundled into it."

Prices from our menu so you can benchmark whatever you're quoted elsewhere.

Add-On Price at Glow Up Worth It When
Dermaplaning $45 You want makeup to sit flat and peach fuzz gone
LED light therapy $30 You booked the entry tier and have active breakouts
Microcurrent therapy $25 You want short-term lift before an event
ZO or Hydrinity sheet mask $25 Your skin runs dry or reactive after exfoliation
High frequency wand $15 You had extractions and want them calmed down
Topical PRFM $200 You're treating texture or scarring, not booking a glow
Exosomes $299 Rarely, on a HydraFacial; this belongs with resurfacing work

A realistic all-in for most people: $250 for the middle tier, or $295 if you add dermaplaning. Anything past $350 for a HydraFacial means you've stacked regenerative add-ons, and those are worth a conversation about whether a different treatment entirely would serve you better for the money.

What it costs over a year

One session gives you a few good days. The results people actually notice on someone come from a schedule, so the number that matters is the annual one, not the per-visit one.

Skin turns over on roughly a monthly cycle, which is why every 4-to-6-weeks is the standard recommendation. At our middle tier, monthly comes out to $3,000 a year. Every 6 weeks is about $2,167. Quarterly maintenance is $1,000. Those are very different commitments for the same treatment, and most people don't need the top one.

Monthly makes sense if you have oily or acne-prone skin, congested pores, or active breakouts, because that's where consistency does the work. If your skin is balanced and you're after general upkeep, every 8 to 12 weeks holds most of the benefit at a third of the cost. A provider who pushes monthly on balanced skin is selling a schedule, not treating one.

If you land on a monthly cadence, check the math against a membership before you commit. Our Glow Getter membership is $150 a month and includes a monthly Glow Getter Facial plus 20 percent off facial enhancements and 10 percent off services, with a 6-month minimum. It's a different facial than the HydraFacial tiers above, so it's not an apples-to-apples swap. It's worth a look if monthly upkeep is the goal and the specific device matters less to you than the cadence.

Which tier to book

You've never had one: HydraGlow at $199. Find out how your skin responds before you pay for boosters.

You have congestion or texture: That Glow Tho at $250. The booster is the part doing the work.

You have an event in 48 hours: MegaGlow at $300. The lymphatic drainage is the reason, and it's temporary by design.

You're on a budget and want upkeep: HydraGlow every 8 to 12 weeks beats the top tier twice a year.

You're treating acne actively: Ask about a series rather than booking one at a time. Acne responds to a front-loaded schedule and then maintenance.

You're chasing scarring or deep texture: A HydraFacial isn't the treatment. Ask about microneedling or resurfacing at your consultation instead of stacking $299 of add-ons onto a facial.

HydraFacial cost FAQ

How much does a HydraFacial cost in Orange County?

Between $199 and $540 per session across the county, depending on tier and add-ons. At Glow Up Med Spa in Cypress, HydraFacials run $199 for HydraGlow, $250 for That Glow Tho, and $300 for MegaGlow.

Why is there such a big price difference between med spas?

Most of the gap is tier, not markup. An entry-tier HydraFacial and a top-tier one are different treatments with different steps. Boosters, LED, and lymphatic drainage each add cost, and some spas bundle them while others charge separately.

How much do HydraFacial add-ons cost?

At Glow Up, facial add-ons run $15 to $45: high frequency wand $15, scalp massage $20, microcurrent $25, sheet masks $25, LED light therapy $30, and dermaplaning $45. Regenerative add-ons cost more, with topical PRFM at $200 and exosomes at $299.

How often should I get a HydraFacial?

Every 4 to 6 weeks is the standard recommendation because skin turns over on roughly a monthly cycle. Oily, congested, or acne-prone skin benefits most from that cadence. Balanced skin holds most of the benefit at every 8 to 12 weeks.

What does a year of HydraFacials cost?

At $250 per session, monthly treatments come to $3,000 a year, every 6 weeks comes to about $2,167, and quarterly comes to $1,000. Choose the cadence your skin needs rather than the one on the brochure.

Is a more expensive HydraFacial always better?

No. The top tier adds lymphatic drainage, which helps puffiness and fluid retention and does little else if that isn't your concern. Paying for a step your skin didn't need is the most common way people overspend on this treatment.
