This Privacy Policy explains how Glow Up Med Spa ("Glow Up", "we", "us") collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit glowupmedspa.com and our other sites, book or attend an appointment, fill in one of our forms, or hear from us by email or text. Information we collect
- Information you give us: your name, email address, phone number, the services you're interested in, appointment details, and anything you write in a form, message or survey.
- Booking and visit information: appointments you book, attend, cancel or miss, the services and products you buy, and payment records. Card payments are processed by our payment providers; we don't store full card numbers.
- Information collected automatically: your device and browser type, IP address, pages you view, links you click, and how you arrived at our site (for example, from an ad or a search), collected through cookies, pixels and similar technologies.
- Information from advertising and analytics partners: for example, which of our ads you saw or clicked before contacting us.
How we use your information
- To book, confirm, remind you of and provide your appointments, and to answer your questions.
- To send you emails and text messages you've agreed to receive, such as appointment reminders, updates and offers. You can unsubscribe from emails at any time, and reply STOP to any text to stop texts.
- To understand which of our ads, pages and services people find useful, and to improve our website, services and marketing.
- To show you more relevant ads on other websites and apps, as described under "Advertising" below.
- To keep our business, website and records secure and to meet our legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal information for money. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business, under contracts that limit how they can use it, including:
- our website and online store platform (Shopify);
- our booking and client management system (WellnessLiving);
- our customer relationship, forms and text messaging platform (GoHighLevel);
- our email marketing platform (Klaviyo);
- advertising and analytics providers, including Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google;
- payment processors, and the IT and software providers that host and secure our systems.
We may also share information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or transfer of our business. We do not share your mobile number or text messaging consent with third parties for their own marketing.
Advertising, cookies and pixels
Our website uses Google Tag Manager, Google Ads conversion tracking and the Meta pixel. These tell Google and Meta when someone who saw or clicked one of our ads visits our site, fills in a form or books, so we can measure our ads and show them to people likely to be interested. You can manage cookies in your browser settings, adjust your ad preferences in your Google and Meta accounts, and opt out of the sharing of your information for targeted advertising on our Your Privacy Choices page. We honor the Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out request for the browser that sends it.
Our use of Google data
Glow Up's internal business tools connect to our own Google Ads and Google Search Console accounts with read-only access. They read our advertising results, keyword planning data and website search statistics (such as which searches show our site and how often our pages are clicked) to help us decide what to write about and how to run our ads. These tools never change anything in those accounts, never access any visitor's or customer's Google account, and the data is used only by Glow Up to run its own marketing. We do not sell this data, use it for unrelated purposes, or share it with anyone except the service providers that host our tools. Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes above, including keeping records of the services we've provided, and as required by law. When we no longer need it, we delete it or make it anonymous.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, including in California, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy of it, to correct it, to ask us to delete it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing for targeted advertising. We won't treat you differently for using these rights. To make a request, email or call us using the details below. We'll need to confirm your identity before acting on it, and you may use an authorized agent.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no system is completely secure.
Children
Our services are for adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
